Meadville Land Service is recognized in the art of constructing restoration projects that implement natural stream channel design. Our skills include:
- Channel excavation, grading, and construction.
- Building in-stream structures; such as, cross vanes, j-vanes, rock vanes, j-hooks, step pools, plunge pools, and spillways.
- Installing boulder bank, rock toe protection, and soil bioengineering material; such as, soil lifts, brush mattressing, and live stakes for stabilization.
- Installing material salvaged from clearing and grubbing for habitat and woody structures; such as, wood snags, log vanes, root wad revetments, and woody deflectors.
- Implementing successful pump around and diversion techniques.
