Park Drive Gully Outfall/Stream Restoration
Completed in 2024 for District Department of Energy & Environment (DOEE)
A design-build project with Meadville Land Service and Biohabitats, Inc. to help restore two stormwater outfall gullies at Fort Davis Park, a National Park in Southeast DC for the District Department of Energy & Environment. The gullies, which drain to different tributaries of the Anacostia River, were eroding due to stormwater flows from the surrounding neighborhood. This caused flood risks and carried trash and pollutants into the river. The restoration aimed to address these issues and improve stormwater management in the park, which was developed before modern stormwater controls existed.
